Global Citizen's MLK365 Service Club Program helps to empower young people in grades K-12 by providing ongoing volunteer and leadership opportunities throughout the year. The program establishes student-centered clubs that support service learning throughout local communities. MLK365 Service Clubs familiarize students with a variety of perspectives on service, using the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a model for ongoing community involvement and empowerment. For more information on starting an MLK365 Service Club at your school, please contact our headquarters at (215) 665-2655 or mlk365@globalcitizen.us.com, or visit the website by clicking here.

Philadelphia Compact Youth Committee/Youth MOVE Philadelphia

We are Youth Advocates for Children’s Behavioral Health; representing young people and adding “youth voice” to the City’s system of children’s services. Our Youth Committee is made up of youth from the ages of 14 to 21, from all over the city of Philadelphia. Our youth members attend conferences and workshops, sit on advisory boards, and participate in decision making meetings which usually included adults only.  Our methods for getting out our information include using skits and role plays, giving formal presentations, and involving our audience members in interactive games or what we call pro-social activities.  If you are interested in participating, contact Randy Alexander, Youth Committee Coordinator at Randolph.alexander@phila.gov or call 215-685-4665.
