Read 180 Tips:
Use only pristine disks. Using scratched disks may cause the computer to freeze, which may result in corrupting the database.
Burn a copy of the disks and save.
Three Ways to Corrupt the Main Database in Read 180
- If the Management Suite is open while students are working in Read 180
- If there is a power surge and the server crashes while the Management Suite is open
- If the Management Suite resides on a server that is almost at capacity, and a report is generated....this might cause the server to crash while the Mangement Suite is open.
